I put the top 2 photos as photos on my office desk as they are aspects of 'art' like I get inspired from
These are the objects that I uploaded to 2nd Life.
The chandelier is my Faveourite object as it give my main office a spacicous feeling and elegance that is linked to my italtian theme.
I used this roman column as it is simple and elegant
this is very interesting picture because even though it is black and white and only the girls dress is red. It give an atmostsphere as tensity, urgency and electricity between the boy and girl.
I used it as the main background picture of my main office as it inspires me alot.
I photoshopped the picture as I like the model and the builing in which the phoho shoot took place. The ceiling is high leveled-typical of olden style mansions in Europe.
Before I show you the end product of my office, I want to show you guys my journals so that you can tell where some the influences of my design in the office have come from.
Archivio di studi urbani e regionali-
i want to the archi library to find out work kind of journal it was... it was written in italian and and had millions of words and not ONE picture. the cover was quite simple white with a black line border and blank writing. it quite hard figuring out what to do with this one but in the end i decided to use it as a main focus of my office because it was italian and it was simple on the outside and complex on the inside. this is a quarterly magazine.
Prodesign-
This magazine was particularly interesting to to me because it had lots on design related things even though it mainly focused on architectural design. and it inspired some of the graphics wall papers. Also this as a monthly NZ based magazine.
Greyroom-
This magazine is a MIT press journal, it focuse on architectuure, art, media, and politics in a comtempory feel. it tries to bring history to the future which i have use as part of my inspiration of using olden material -marble- in a modern building -my office- . this online journal is also a quarterly journal.
After trying to figure out what theme to have as my main focus. Finally. I decided to go with the Roman/Italian theme as it has been something that has fasinated me ever since the movie "Gladiator"
I like how they can build gigantic basic structures like archs and columns and have so much detail curved in to like the cravings and depictions of battle scenes.
(pantheon)
Also last year after studying Roman art and architecture it has increased my fasination.
I have also included some of my artwork from last year because I thought they fit quite well with theme and they also in some ways show my style as an artist and my personality which influences over my architecture alot.
(art work from last year with a bit of photoshop~)
oh well, better up date before my office is completely unrecogniseable from its original form ....
i was going to make textures and build as i go along but i realised it might take longer than i thought so i've changed tactics, im making the general shape of my office first then putting the textures in. here a pic of what it looks like right now
As you might have noticed i've up in rafter and lamps and changed the window colours. looks pretty amatuer BUT after i have putting the pieces together use some photoshop it will look AWESOME :P

realised you can't really see my roman/ open space theme but oh well hopefull you will be able to see more as i build more on to it but the main point is that i got rid of those weird pink things
realised that what i had built or was in the process of building was not my style, so decided to demolish it and start again from the basics. hopefully it looks more successful. p.s im going for the Rome/ open space look
